This is based on the number of votes received.My name is Jona Heise. I am mommy to 3 incrediable kids, Olivia who is 4, Gabe almost 2, Jude 5 weeks old and also the owner/creator of The Little Bee Co Cloth Diapers. I started The Little Bee Co in May of 2011 as a mission to provide diapers to orphans around the world while also providing high quality diapers to customers at an affordable price.
For every diaper purchased The Little Bee Co will donate a diaper to an orphan in need. Since our launch last May we have been able to donate nearly 2000 diapers to orphans around the world including orphans in Uganda, China, Jamaica, Ethiopia and right here in the US.
Orphans, especially those in 3rd world countries, do not have proper diapering available. A large number of orphanages use split pants, rags or often times no diaper at all. These precious babies find themselves in unhealthy and unsanitary conditions that cause an already bad situation to be far worse.The diapers shipped to each orphan enable a healthier diapering system and a comfort they may otherwise never receive.
Being able to make even the smallest difference in the lives of these babies has proven a success to me. It has been an amazing journey and one I enjoy being able to travel while being a mommy to my own babies at home!
