When owner Robin Riggs was expecting her first child, she had a hard time finding accessories for the baby that were both stylish AND affordable. She was sick of seeing baby blankets & bibs with traditional pastel colors and teddy bears. She wanted something that was cute for baby, but was also a reflection of HER personal style! So she decided to make her own! She found some beautiful designer fabric, combined it with soft & snuggly minky fabric that the baby would love, and the first Ella Jean blanket was born! She named the company after her daughter, and the rest is history! Now Ella Jean has grown into a line of beautiful coordinating baby gifts: blankets, burp cloths, bibs, and soft blocks. Moms can't resist these great designs, and babies love the bright colors and differing textures! This product line has become a favorite for baby shower gifts!
Even better... Ella Jean is proudly Made in the USA! And, owner Robin Riggs believes strongly in giving back to the community. Overages and excess fabric are donated to Newborns in Need, a fabulous organization that strives to keep underprivileged babies warm and comfortable. Riggs has also initiated and run a huge diaper drive called "Happy Bums" in her hometown. The diaper drive strives to keep babies Clean, Dry, & Healthy!
