Remember your last adventure? Your child does. A child's creativity opens the door to worlds full of action, wonderment and just plain fun. And each adventure is like a fingerprint - no two kids create in quite the same way.

At Superkid Capes LLC, we're proud to play a role in this. Our custom-made single- and double-sided capes allow you to help create an experience for your child as unique as the child himself. As a former educator and mother of three, I understand the importance of creative play in childhood development. Each piece is made by fellow mothers here in the USA hand-crafted using high quality fabric and recycled materials. Because enhancing a child's imagination is no time to take shortcuts.

I am an adventure maker, an idea girl, and I never give up. Every day I hope to show my 3 girls what creativity, passion, drive, and hard work can make happen despite trials and adversity. These are character traits a winner should posses.

In just over 2 years of being in business, Superkid Capes LLC has sold thousands of capes and accessories and continues to be recognized in magazines, articles and blogs on the web.

Superkid Capes LLC has participated in philanthropic opportunities, as well as nationwide sales such as Zulily, and been featured on television. I am extremely proud of our high standard of quality, and our customers appreciate this too-coming back as repeat and "threepeat" customers on a regular basis.

So far this year, we expanded our hero accessories line and are planning to employ additional female sewers as we anticipate another nationwide marketing sale next season. Adding winner of "the Leading Moms in Business Competition" would be such an honor and validation of this journey so far, as well as an amazing catalyist to enable Superkid Capes to take it to the next level.

People I meet still laugh or look a little confused when I say I own a Superhero Cape Company. Most people cannot imagine there is such a huge market for this simple, timeless, and classic child’s product. I am glad I am not one of those people, took a chance, and followed my heart.
