Contestant's Case to Win

Sweetandsassygirl.com began as a dream of mine one year ago. A year ago, I started sweetbabystylishmom.com and it was always my intention to have more than one ecommerce business. I just needed to learn the basics and I was on my way! My dream came true one year later, in Nov 2011, when I saw the opportunity to start sweetbabystylishmom.com's "sister" site, sweetandsassygirl.com...all things hip, chic, and trendy for girls of ALL ages!
My journey to work from home actually began in 2000 when I was laid off from a field research job. Right then and there, I decided to pursue my glass artist career full time and take it more seriously. I began training to make glass beads with a torch and then the jewelry. This began my journey with meandmybrightideas.com or Me & My Bright Ideas art glass jewelry. I sell my glass art jewelry at juried art shows and wholesale to galleries all over the country! While I still do my jewelry, I now split my time between the three businesses. I love it. I never get bored. I am able to stay at home and spend more time with family, while making my business dreams come true!
I can be very impulsive in a good way in that when I see an opportunity, I sieze it.
SweetandSassyGirl.com has been so much fun. Unlike the first business, SweetBabyStylishMom.com, I handpicked each and every vendor on the site, to build a certain look or brand. I like to go out of the way to find unique and interesting companies, such as other independent artists that have never sold wholesale or dropshipped before. Two such companies on my site are an artist that does inspirational paintings for girl's rooms and another that does handmade personalized totes. Both of these artists are fabulously talented and excited to jump on board. For that, I am grateful they are on board with SweetandSassyGirl.com!

SweetandSassyGirl is now also sponsoring a young model and we are thrilled to be featured in an article in an upcoming issue of His Life Magazine!

Perhaps one of the best things I've gotten from my businesses are the friends I've made. I've met some absolutely amazing and wonderful people who have become my good friends. I am blessed!

I am excited to see what the future will bring with these businesses!
