It is a first of its kind centralized one-stop platform that directly connects parents and local enrichment activity providers for kids ages 0-18. Parents get online registration; organizational and social networking functions; ratings/reviews; deals/discounts; and educational blog content. The current problem: parents are frustrated with the disconnected, tedious, and time consuming process of finding, comparing, sharing, and registering for afterschool activities for their kids. Activity providers have no actionable way of directly reaching these parents looking for their programs; some vendors have no web presence at all. Activity Rocket provides a comprehensive database of all providers in a given locality combined with a dynamic search engine allowing a parent to efficiently locate an activity for their child; and then the ability to share and collaborate with other parents to register for the classes most desirable.
