This is based on the number of votes received. I am the owner of Unforgettaballs! baseball line. I have been in business for 15 yrs., and I have sold over 850,000 baseballs in that time. (wouldn't you know both my sons are into basketball, football and lacrosse!)
When I began my business, all baseballs were white! But with an art and architecture background, I saw this as an open canvas and began hand painting intricate designs on the baseballs. With an art background the business world was new to me, so I started showing in craft shows locally. After success there, I learned how to manufacture my designs onto baseballs so they could reach a larger audience! Especially since each design takes me about 60 hours to paint the original.
I now have a website, sell in retail stores and catalogs across the country, and have been on QVC numerous times! I have learned my business by reading books, being active on line, reading articles and magazines, and constantly trying to improve the way I reach people with my product. I have created baseballs for charities and for US Presidents! I also try to help other entrepreneurial friends and people in my community reach their business dreams. This business really has been my third child.
