Contestant's Case to Win

This is based on the number of votes received.
I feel I should be considered the winner of the Leading Moms in Business Competition because my company was started and has continued to grow out of passion, persistence and most of all, love! In 2003, I gave birth to my identical twin daughters, Mia & Gianna, who passed shortly after birth due to complications in my pregnancy. I felt that I did not have the support I needed from our family and friends. Since their births weren't recognized due to the shortness of it, that meant their deaths weren't recognized either. So in 2010, my 2 existing children went to school full time. I didn't know what to do with myself. I didn't want to just sit around and clean and cook all day! I decided that if my girls weren't going to be recognized the "traditional" way, I'd have them recognized another way. I started Mia Gia Soy Candles in their honor. I felt that the products I had, would be so wonderful that people would continue to buy because they loved them. And every time a product is purchased or a candle is lit, my girls would be recognized whether people realized it or not. So, to continue to honor my girls, taking my company to the next level would mean so much to me, but really, the honors would be for them! Thank you for your consideration, -Julie Coda
