The Mommy Doctors are busy, just like you. Cheri is a mom to two energetic little girls, and Lennox is the mom of an adorable little boy. Both are physicians and work full-time, in addition to raising their families, trying to keep up with their children and daydreaming of five consecutive hours of sleep.

Milkin' Cookies were born as Cheri and Lennox began discussing ways they could continue nursing while working full-time. Like most nursing moms, they found that ensuring adequate milk production was an ongoing battle. Tired of smelling like maple syrup from Fenugreek and reluctant to take prescription medications, they embarked on a journey to help themselves and all nursing moms continue breastfeeding.

Knowing that some foods had the ability to increase milk production, Cheri and Lennox began experimenting with recipes to find a yummy, portable snack that would help to increase milk supply. Wanting to shed those last baby pounds, their recipes focused on including healthy ingredients and limiting excess calories. They also wanted to provide important nutrients for their babies and themselves without unwanted additives and preservatives. It took time, but Milkin’ Cookies were created, tested and refined until they had created a delicious, portable snack that helped to increase milk supply.
