Contestant's Case to Win

This is based on the number of votes received and does not reflect the quality of the business or chances of winning.
I have shopped resale my entire adult life. For me. for my husband, for my kids. It's a process I have always believed in, not just from the aspect of saving money, but to help protect our environment (GSK is a certified green business as well) and to cut down on waste! I started GROVE STREET kids as a way to combine my passions for fashion, protecting our environment and supporting our local business community. I also wanted to set an example for my daughters: as a business woman, a leader in the community and a mom!

We opened our business just as the economy took a down turn and many families were hard hit with layoffs and foreclosures. We provide these folks and others (those that can afford to by new but simply want to recycle-because it's the right thing to do!) with the ability to clothe their children without having to worry about whether or not they have enough left over for other things! Children are always growing and will always need clothing and shoes!

It's amazing the amount of clothing, shoes and accessories that comes through our store. What we can't use or is left behind by our customers we donate to non profit organizations that serve families in need (read, don't have to pay) either designated by our customers or by us. We have donated nationally and internationally.
