My name is Tricia Vicks. I am the owner of Patty Cakes LLC, a custom cakery located in Dover DE. I started my business two years after retiring from my career as an telecommunications network engineer. My decision to retire at that time, was to concentrate on my family. Since then my family has increased, and I am now a mother of 10. I have been designing cakes for almost six years and have consistently grown and advanced. My decision to choose this new career path is one that I have not regretted. My balance of family and business has been a delicate one but as my business slowly develops my children are getting older and allowing me to nurture my passion for baking into something extraordinary. My love for my family drives me to be the best mom that I can be and my passion for what I do drives me to to become one of the best in my field. I enjoy seeing my clients excitement as I deliver a custom work of art for their special occasion but more importantly, my children are proud of what I do and who I am (they're also my toughest critiques). I hope to make my family proud and many more people happy for years to come.
