Contestant's Case to Win

"You really popped over the weekend."
"Your husband must love those boobs."
"Oh my God, where did those boobs come from?"

Hearing these comments when I was pregnant really made me crazy! And, why does everyone feel the need to rub my pregnant belly like I'm some sort of Buddha?

Okay, so I gained around 60 lbs. and I'm, 5' 2". (I was famished!) Does that mean I encouraged all of these observations?

No!

To make sure I wasn't THAT hormonal pregnant woman, I shared the comments with my husband. Sometimes, I forgot (what people said) so I began to write them down.

After I gave birth, I stumbled upon my notes and I decided to share them with other pregnant women. I wanted to add a little levity to alleviate the stress associated with all of the testing, poking and worries pregnant women endure.

Mama Never Told Me... was born!

Any entrepreneur has to be fearless, and, let's face it, a little crazy.

My initial "crazy" moment occurred when I decided to enter the publishing industry. I had no experience and no connections. I also had no experience and no connections to PR.

In spite of my ignorance, I managed to write and self-publish a book, start an LLC, create a website, generate some exciting (and ongoing) buzz and sell books into a major retailer -- all while working full-time and raising a baby! Whew!

The second book in the Mama Never Told Me... series is coming soon! (just in time for Mother's Day!)

My ultimate goal with Mama Never Told Me, LLC is to help other Moms achieve their dreams and help guide them through the self-publishing process.
