In 1986 when we opened the Bavarian Inn Lodge I was managing family life with 3 young children and developing a new Bavarian theme hotel in our Bavarian themed Community. The Lodge has grown to 360 guestrooms with a Family Fun Center, FIVE indoor pools; three Whirlpools, indoor miniature golf and an array of Family focused activities. We host the largest hotel convention facilities in the region & host nearly 500,000 children with their families in the Lodge each year! So many of our guests feel like extended family and i have enjoyed watching children from the 80's return with their children all year round. My Children are now joining the family business as 4th generation owners and managers. I think I have the best job in the world... helping families create enjoyable experiences when they escape to Michigan's Little Bavaria - Frankenmuth!
