While teaching art and music in a school for children with special needs we discovered that there were not many extra-curricular opportunities for our students. We saw hands-on the benefits of music and art to these children and opened Kreative Kids to ensure all children had a place to go to learn and have fun outside of the school setting. We strive to provide the highest quality of fine arts education to children of all ages and abilities. We hope to inspire children to use their creativity to their greatest potential.
When I became pregnant with triplets it became apparent that I would not be able to go back to teaching full-time. I love teaching and I could not give up on my belief that there needs to be a place where ALL children can go to continue to learn and create outside of school. I strongly believe that ALL students should experience meaningful, learning opportunities and by providing high-quality arts education at Kreative Kids we are making this happen. I hope to win this competition so that I can continue to provide an education to your children while raising my own.
