Nine Little Months is a business that sells gently used maternity clothes online at bargain prices. From designers like Mimi Maternity and A Pea in the Pod, to Liz Lange Maternity, Nine Little Months offers new moms a selection of affordable, fashionable, gently-used maternity wear for each and every occasion.
It was inspired because during both my pregnancies I was amazed at how expensive maternity clothes were. And to top it off, I didn’t wear them for very long before I outgrew them! I knew that there had to be a better solution...and so Nine Little Months was born.
I buy clothes from local stylish Orange County, CA moms, offering them cash for maternity clothes that they no longer need. Then after washing everything and writing a detailed description of each item, I resell the clothes on my website www.ninelittlemonths.com.
As a mom I believe that it’s important to look after the planet as much as possible, and so in addition to selling reused clothes, I make sure that I reduce, recycle and reuse as much as I can. With that in mind, I am sure to reuse packaging, use eco-friendly marketing materials and recycled products wherever possible.
I like to think that Nine Little Months is a company that’s win-win-win. It’s a win for the moms that I buy clothes from, a win for the people that I sell clothes to, and a win for the planet too as the clothes get a second life.
