Contestant's Case to Win

Knowing that a flexible scheduled would be essential to spending time with her two year old son (and daughter on the way), our owner founded A Therapy Connection. Her career had been spent as a Speech Pathologist and being faced with the choice of leaving her son and daughter in full-time day care to continue the career she loved, or in leaving the work force all together, she decided to create a third option! A Therapy Connection was born in 2006, just weeks before her daughter's arrival. In fact, the first payroll for A Therapy Connection was processed from the maternity ward of the hospital where her daughter was delivered!

A Therapy Connection provides a full range of diagnostic testing and occupational and speech therapy for children with acquired or developmental delays. We serve children from birth through adolescence and are committed to providing services of the highest quality. We also provide training to parents and caregivers so they can be fully involved in their child's program. Our practice provides initial screenings, parent consultations, comprehensive evaluations, scheduled therapy sessions, family education and support and collaboration with schools, child care providers, physicians and other professionals.
