Contestant's Case to Win

Ma Mi Skin Care is a natural skin care line geared toward the specific needs of moms. Our product line uses only high quality ingredients for incredible anti-aging results. I wanted to create a line that was affordable without all the fillers and chemicals found in many drug store products.

I decided to start Ma Mi Skin Care after I became a mother of two sweet little angels - one feisty toddler and an even feistier one year old. As I began my journey into motherhood, I became much more conscious of all the chemicals and toxins we are exposed to in our everyday life. Initially my focus was exclusively on my kids, trying to get as many fruits and veggies in (a never ending battle), considering organic and then researching product ingredients and realizing there are a lot of terrible chemicals in the products we used.

Then I realized that I needed to take this same care for myself (we moms are good at forgetting our own personal needs sometimes), so I took a second look at my own diet, lifestyle and product usage. I began to search for a natural, simple skin care product line that was effective and affordable. As a new mom of two young kids, I wanted a simple and quick daily regimen that would address my specific skin care needs…the dark circles and puffiness from never-ending sleep deprivation, the hormonal flux displayed on my face, the age lines from additional stress and worry, the stretch marks, and the list goes on…

To my surprise, there was no natural, affordable and high quality skin care line that fit my specific needs. I had the benefit that my family has been in the skin care business my entire life and after a lot of research, I decided to start Ma Mi Skin Care.

I work on Ma Mi with my husband, my mom and my brother. We all moonlight so it has been slow going but we keep chugging away.
