After walking around for years with my pant hem caught between my heel and shoe when wearing any type of backless shoes and becoming very frustrated I started looking for a product I could purchase to prevent this. Much to my surprise, I could find nothing. What I did find was many, many women walking around with the same unsightly problem. So in 2006 with a career in Real Estate, a husband, new baby, two other children and all their activities I created Out Ease Struts. It is a patent pending, environmentally friendly ( 100% corn) adhesive strip that you place on the inside bottom back center of your pant hem to prevent your hem from catching between your heel and shoe when wearing any type of backless shoes.
The fashion solutions accessories market is not easy. Products are not glamorous but necessary. I cannot tell you how many hours have been put into this product so one day I could get it on the market and see other women benefit from it.
Struts are now finally on the market and currently in thirteen stores. My customers LOVE Struts! I oversee every detail of my company and talk to all my customers personally.
Sometimes I wonder how I made it all work. It has been a very long, busy, chaotic but very exciting road. I am proof that you can be a mommy, raise a family and see an idea through to a reality.
