I started making barrettes for my daughter when I was unable to find what I liked in the stores. As she started wearing the barrettes, people asked where they could buy them. There was such a positive response that I decided to form a company and formally sell them. From that Little Miss Julia was born.

Little Miss Julia offers a full range of stylized hair accessories. Each barrette or clip is hand made to order and each one receives the utmost attention to ensure the highest level of quality. I use top of the line barrettes, hair clips, ribbons and embellishments. My designs consist of crystal flowers, multi colored flowers, smiling daisy flowers, ladybugs, strawberries and apples. Little Miss Julia hair accessories are unique in style. It is not just another bow; it is an embellished, stylized barrette or alligator clip that will add style and glamour to any girl's hair.

As a working mother of two I don’t have a lot of free time and need to balance work and kids. I have involved my children in what I do, asked their opinions on color choices, let them “help” develop designs and bring them on sales calls. By involving them they have an interest in my business which makes trying to balance it all a little easier.

I don’t let the grass grow under my feet and when I decide I want to do something I make it happen. As a result I have been able to get my business formed, website set up, suppliers established and developed relationships with the retail and online communities within a short amount of time. I have created a business and products that I am proud of and happy to say I make and sell. My goal is that my customers feel they have an accessory that completes their girl’s total look and puts a smile of their face.
