Contestant's Case to Win

My business is Save the Chairs! It should be judged the winner of the Leading Moms in Business Competition because I am a mother of three who has invented a beautiful and innovative product and brought it to market. There's simply nothing else like it!

Here's my story: Although slipcovers are typically used simply to redecorate in the home, I had bigger ideas than that. As a thirty-something attorney who had already despaired of ever having children, I had purchased beautifully upholstered furniture. But shortly thereafter, a husband and baby later, constant feeding messes created a need; that is: A labor-saving device that would eliminate incessant chair cleaning. So, with my training from the Fashion Institute of Technology, I sewed prototype after prototype until I created the "Save The Chairs!" chair cover.

Save the Chairs! is laminated with urethane, eliminating spills from soaking through the chair cover onto the chair. But better yet, it is completely adjustable to provide a custom-tailored look to almost any-size dining room or kitchen chair. This product is ideal for caregivers of young children, the elderly and the disabled...or really anyone who just wants a more custom-looking slipcover.
