Contestant's Case to Win

My sister and I (both inspired by motherhood) invented a must-have fashionable and functional children's accessory for kids ages 2-8. FINALLY, a belt designed specifically for young children! Myself Belts patented closure promotes independence and boost self-esteem by allowing children to easily fasten and unfasten their belt on their own- making a child's(and parent's!) day a little easier and provide children with an "I did it by myself!" moment. No more droopy drawers, and a frustrating problem is solved for both parent and child! Myself Belts come in adorable designs like firetrucks, hearts and abc's.

Myself Belts launched in Sept. 2004 and are now sold in over 700 stores around the world. Myself Belts have been on The Today Show and have been featured in numerous parenting magazines such as Parenting and Child. The belts have celebrity fans such as Brooke Shields, Courteney Cox, and Sarah Jessica Parker and were recently in In Touch Weekly! Shaquille O'Neal's kids are also fans!

Myself Belts began as a product for young children but we have recently expanded our offerings for adults with hand dexterity difficulties. Perfect for individuals with hand dexterity difficulties stemming from arthritis, stroke, or cognitive challenges, the Myself Belt helps to restore dignity and improve day to day life.

Myself Belts began as a way to keep my son's pants up. My sister and I did not have any business experience or any background in the clothing industry. We just knew we had a great idea that many other parents would find extremely helpful. We are so proud of how successful our business has become(and our parents are too!) and often can't believe how we got here. Along the way, we have been helped by many other moms entrepreneurs and we try to pass on our success as well by providing advice and guidance when people now call us. It is surreal that now we are the ones who have expertise to share. We would love to be included as one of the winners of this competition! Thank you!
