SouthernBabies is owned and operated by Jennifer Fraunfelder, a Work At Home Mom of 2 beautiful Girls. Emily age 5 and Ella age 4. We are located in Mobile, Alabama.

I started SouthernBabies in 2006, after having to take time off from work and school due to illness. Ella was born 2 months prematurely and it was just a matter of months before I became ill. I had always wanted to have 2 or more little girls of my own to sew and create cutsie one of a kind clothing for, just as my mom and grandmother did for me and my siblings and family. SO I started doing the same for my girls. And then branched out to friends and family and then their friends and family and thus created SouthernBabies, officially launched in 2007.

I absolutely adore what I do, and love it even more that I get to be home with my girls prior to their school years. It gives me a chance to interact with them, teach them, watch them grow and just enjoy our lives together. SouthernBabies has allowed me to be a mom, a stay at home mom, a work at home mom and a business owner.

By winning this competition, it would mean so much to me, my family and my business. And it would be a way for me to share with others my creativity, love for sewing and dedication to not only my family but to my customers and everyone else as well.
