Contestant's Case to Win

After completing a BS in Microbiology/Chemistry, I chose to stay home to care for and home school my daughters. Out of the desire to teach my kids responsibility, I started raising dairy goats, and used the goat milk to make soap and lotion. I sold at farmer's markets and craft fairs, and found a huge demand for my products.

Since opening a retail location in 2006, we have continued to grow and increase our customer base each year. I make fantastic products that help sufferers of skin problems find relief. I don't keep doing this for the money, but for the satisfaction of helping people find a solution to their needs.

We have no employees, but run the store as a family. We are open six days a week, closing on holidays and Sundays. The five of us are at the store each day to serve customers and make products. We do our schooling at the store as well.

I enjoy seeing my daughters blossom while helping me run the store and learning responsibility. I don't have it all perfect, but I am helping people and my family. I love what I do and often make special formulations for people that have a particular need. I enjoy educating clients on how to care for their skin naturally and how many products can damage their skin.

Our goal is to provide you with the best skin care around. It is important to us to educate the public about the importance of natural skin care. Some preservatives are inevitable to provide a shelf life to wet ingredients, but we eliminate all of the unnecessary chemicals from our fine line of products. Keeping your body pure is the best way to keep it healthy.

I am actually going back to school to get certified in esthetics, also. I plan to use my new knowledge to further help customers, and formulate more products. I aspire to open a spa with my retail store to teach people how to take proper care of their skin. It is very exciting to be able to learn more about skin care and helping others.
