Contestant's Case to Win

Women needing a couple of days away to scrapbook, craft, or just relax with friends have found a haven at our Cozy Crop House in Lancaster County, PA (www.CozyCropHouse.com). We have equipped a home with the tables, lighting, and tools specific to scrapbooking, and provide a low-cost alternative to the large group weekend events held at hotels. Ladies love the cozy atmosphere you can only fully enjoy with friends in a home setting.
The idea grew out of a desire to share my love for scrapbooking, combined with a need to produce income for our household. My husband's health has been a challenge for our family for years, but has also united us in a unique way. This unity has also helped as my husband and four children have all been behind me with help and encouragement as our business grows. They have all pitched in, whether it is with ideas, cleaning house, painting and drywalling, moving furniture, or shoveling snow.
Now open for 2 1/2 years, we are preparing to open a second location in Spring of 2009. While national economics are intimidating, I know that now more than ever women will need a budget-friendly option for a weekend to de-stress with friends while working on their crafts.
