Contestant's Case to Win

Children are not coming to Kindergarten ready to learn. This is a top priority of 38 states along with President Obama’s administration. My books are the solution! If two brothers from Ohio can change the face of aviation than why can’t one mom from Wisconsin, inspired by Oprah, help parents, teachers and kids get ready for school?

In 2004, with a phone and a computer, I bootstrapped and started Cedar Valley Publishing and released my first book: Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten! In 2006, I released: Let’s Get Ready For First Grade! I am currently releasing the Spanish/English Edition of Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten! iA Prepararse Para Kindergarten!

My books are improving test scores and are currently used in 400 school districts, including approval by the prestigious educational departments of California and Texas. I have a national educational and media platform as the “Get Ready To Learn Mom” and am a regular contributor to Milwaukee’s Morning Blend Television Show and have been featured by over 700 mom blogs, hundreds of newspapers, magazines, radio shows, #1 search engine rankings and on national television! To my great surprise, I was listed as one of the Top 50 Children’s Publishers for 2009! I am proud that my books are 100% made in Wisconsin!
