Contestant's Case to Win

Two and a half years ago, at the age of 48, I figured out who I wanted to be when I grew up. I lost my corporate job due to health issues and started researching ways to work from home. I happened upon the term, "virtual assistant," researched all I could about the industry and knew it was what I was meant to do.

I love helping others. I love being able to put my extraordinary administrative skills to work and help to take my clients to new heights with their businesses. I am able to work with people I love, doing what I love. What greater joy is there than spending each day with passion.

My company is called A Balanced Alternative. I chose that name because I truly believe there is an alternative to all the stress and chaos that comes from owning your own business. By partnering with me, I free my clients up to do what they do best, which is to grow their business. I give them balance in their daily lives, not only from a business perspective, but also from a personal one. I am an encourager and I love talking with people, uplifting them, motivating them to go beyond their "normal" and do something extraordinary.

I live my life with passion and because of my business, my personal life has flourished. I am no longer stressed at the end of the day, but happy and contented. My family loves what I do and supports me tremendously. They are my rock and I couldn't have done this - stepped out and become a business owner - without their support and encouragement.
