Herbal Intervention, L.L.C., was formed in 2001 to develop and manufacture safe and effective organically grown botanical medicines. Raising five lovely children and working as a Family Nurse Practitioner & Herbalist has taught me the benefits of " honoring health". Working in NYC emergency rooms I became distressed with the alarmingly high rates of infection associated with simple cuts, burns and insect bites. The leading topical medicine is a messy ointment that is often misapplied and does not allow air to penetrate. This creates a medium for bacteria to grow prompting my inquiry to investigate safe and effective scientifically researched plants. My children were with me sowing the seeds to grow the plants to create Omyst®, our patent pending healing herbal first aid spray. They continue to share in the daily production and design of our new botanical line that we look forward to bringing you soon!
