Contestant's Case to Win

This is based on the number of votes received.
Please consider Brenda Berg, the founder & CEO of Scandinavian Child. As the woman who introduced North American parents to the Svan High Chair in 2003, Brenda was at the forefront of the movement bringing modern design to the children’s industry; a movement that helped to drive tremendous growth in the baby industry and changed the way parents think about life with baby. With a guiding principle of “Designs Without Compromise,” Brenda has grown her company rapidly by working with great companies from around the globe to grow Scandinavian Child’s family of products.

Scandinavian Child now represents Svan of Sweden, Cariboo of New Zealand, lillebaby, Micralite, BEABA and the Scandinavian Child-commissioned Anka by Svan line. A winner of a highly-coveted JPMA Innovation Award for the BEABA Babycook in 2008, Scandinavian Child’s products frequently make media outlets’ “top picks” lists, including two new products that will receive Fit Pregnancy’s Editor’s Choice Awards this spring.

Passionate about great design, Brenda is a mother of two young children and equally passionate about product safety. She serves as the treasurer of the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA) Board of Directors and is a voting member of two ASTM Safety Committees. She is also a strong advocate for working mothers and entrepreneurs.
