Contestant's Case to Win
This is based on the number of votes received. Scribble Press is a store where kids write, illustrate and publish their own books. It was founded by two moms - Anna Barber and Darcy Pollack - who met on an airplane and discovered they shared a love of books and were committed to encouraging their own children's creativity.
After spending over a year developing the concept, Anna and Darcy opened the first Scribble Press store in the Westside Pavilion in Los Angeles in May 2008.
At Scribble Press, kids and families can write and illustrate a book and go home that day with a bound and printed copy of it. If they have less time, customers can make a card, notepad, calendar, notebook or placemat with their own artwork and photo on it - all made in our bindery while you wait.
Scribble Press received "Best of 2008" accolades from LA Parent and LA Weekly and has customer satisfaction rates over 95%. Anna and Darcy are currently working to expand Scribble Press to other locations and online.
Combining unique technology and process (high quality custom printing in 15-30 minutes) with a fun, creative environment, Scribble Press delivers an outstanding customer experience.
As one writer commented after visiting the store, "Scribble Press sells joy."
