Contestant's Case to Win

I’d always been fascinated by those big trucks running down the highway and as a child I decided I’d give that a try one day. So, after retiring from the US Air Force I decided to give it a try. My Sweetie (husband Lance) and I are “Over-the-Road” long haul team drivers. We drive anywhere from Canada to southern most USA and east coast to west coast, averaging 5,000 miles a week. All in the confines of an 8’ x 8’ living space, where storage is premium!

After being on my first truck, a Freightliner Columbia, I decided I had to come up with a better way to store and access our smaller easily misplaced items; i. e. novels, CDs, brushes, medications, batteries, pens, pads, eyeglasses, sunglasses and the stuff from your pockets. That is when patent pending BUDDIES TM was first born. Providing clear organized storage solutoins whered none previously existed. We soon realized other drivers could benefit from this. I started my quest, with lots of encouragement from Lance. He told me about hearing information about the Law of Attraction on Oprah, which lead me to “Startup Nation”.

We own property 10 miles north of the beach in Mississippi and have wanted to help the Mississippi Gulf Coast recover from Katrina. I registered our LLC in Ocean Springs, MS and have been taking baby steps to launch KzW, LLC ever since. With my success I intend to fund my grandkids’ college educations, as well as supporting Katrina recovery on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
