Contestant's Case to Win

Cannoli by Mail began as a mother-daughter team in 2004, sharing a fabulous Italian dessert that we ourselves had trouble finding! Being very involved in the Houston Italian Federation and having to wait all year for the Italian Festival in order to consume a "true" Italian cannoli, we decided it was time to take matters into our own hands.

After alot of testing, we have found a way to share this dessert with others - shipping across the United States. In the past 4 years, we've added additional items to our product line that include biscotti, pizzelle, Italian cookies and we're always looking for more unique Italian items - not just food!

Though I started this as a part-time adventure, it has grown to absorb more time than I had as a "working" mom. I've since quit my job and devote as much time as possible to growing the business. With one child still at home, free time is limited - most of it is consumed filling orders, but we continue to see growth and that's promising! In fact, we proudly wear our Honorary Ranking badge for the 2008 StartUp Nation Home-Based Business competition!

Word of mouth and repeat customers have been vital to our success, we strive to make everyone happy!
