Kris Howson says Nicole Boice is an amazing mom who was put on this earth to help...She didn't know how much of a gift she was, now she has created this amazing charity that NO ONE can match as far as how many families she will touch and help. Rare disease is generally unknown to the laymen but in reality millions are affected yearly!. Nicole has dedicated her entire life to this cause which will impact so many deserving families. Nicole is an incredible mother, facinating friend and one of the most giving humas I have ever met! This award needs to go to Nicole Boice in appreciation of her tireless efforts on behalf of millions of children born with rare disease!!! Kelly Seymour says Nicole Boice is the most selfless, incredibly kind and empathetic Woman/Mom I know!!!! She has spent so many years getting The Project "up off the ground"! The Project will someday help millions of families touched by rare diseases! Nicole is achieving something so incredible, and it is ALL for other people..not herself! This is a totally unselfish effort and I think she should be recognized for that. Nicole is personifying what it is to be a real Humanitarian...she is my HERO...and she is my son's HERO!! When my son Derek was born 10 years ago, Nicole, my best friend was at the hospital to see him soon after birth. We knew right away that Derek would face many challenges. Our family had to wait 2 1/2 agonizing years for Derek to finally be diagnosed with a devastating rare syndrome, Joubert's Syndrome. Nicole was so moved by our family struggle and has created this foundation on our behalf. She wants to help other families that are going through this kind of hardship. Her desire to help and to give is truly an amazing gift to society. At a time when many people are "out for themselves", Nicole is doing the opposite...she is making a difference in many lives and she is putting herself last! Not only is this an outstanding organization with such importance, but this is the fulfilment of Nicole's selfless dream to help other families like ours! Can you say you know someone like this?
