Rachel is just a great person to be around. I have met her twice and both times she was so upbeat. Her oldest daughter seems to be just like her too. They both do great work for the Signing Videos/CDs

I purchased the Signing Time DVD's right after my daughter was diagnosed with autism to see if they could help with her communication issues. She was highly echolalic and had very little spontaneous speech. I was amazed at how well she repsonded! It was as if a light bulb clicked on inside her mind and she finally understood that items had names and words were used to communicate with other people, they weren't just there to repeat back to me. Within a few weeks she was effectively communicating with both signs and words, it was amazing. I have a special place in my heart for Rachel, Emilie, Leah, Alex, and everyone at Two Little Hands Productions. They gave me my first glimmer of hope for my daughter's future. After that, I knew she could do and be anything she wanted. LOVE you guys!!!

My son has autism and he LOVES all the signing time videos. We have to go to the library every single week to rent 2 more. He can repeat Rachel's dialogue word for word and even uses her same expressions and tone of voice. He walks around saying, "hi, I'm Keegan Coleman". These videos have been a huge hit in our house and I am so thankful for all that he is learning!

I a impressed with how much Eachel and Emily has inspired other parents to communicate earlier with their own babies. My son (almost 1.5 yrs. old) wants to watch nothing but their videos and we communicate very well. Signing is a lifesaver when he's already throwing tanrums and cannot verbalize. He also heeds STOP and NO better when it's signed to him :)

Signing Time has changed our lives! My son Gary started watching Signing Time at the age of one (he is now almost four and still ST is his favorite) to help him with communication, and though his speech is delayed, he is able to communicate his needs to us through sign. He loves Rachel, Leah, Alex, and Hopkins, and they have changed the quality of our lives dramatically. The love that Rachel and Emilie share with us through ST means so much to us, and my whole family has gotten hooked on Signing Time. My two typically developing nephews have enjoyed learning ASL with Signing Time, and they are excited to be able to "talk" to their cousin. The music is incredible, and Rachel expresses the feelings of joy and frustration and all-encompassing love that accompany the journey of parenting a special child. When I am having a difficult day, we put on a Signing Time CD or DVD and somehow our day becomes better. Thanks to Rachel, Emilie, and all of the loving people at Two Little Hands Productions- you all make a difference in our lives!

Our son was diagnosed with ASD just months before he turned 3. We had fostered him since he was 14 months old. The doctor said that he was non-verbal and may never talk. When he started pre-K one of the mom's suggested we try Signing Time. He seems to have learned so much and understands a lot, although he has mastered only a few signs. We can't thank you enough for making what we thought would be hard so easy and so much fun. My teaching "trick" is to sit behind my son and bring my arms around him so he can see how the signs are made from our "view". It's really helped, but not as much as Signing Time has!!! We love you!!

My son, is 3 1/2 he suffered from Bacterial Meningitis when he was 14-17 months of age. He is deaf with a cochlear implant. We had been learning sign language as a 2nd language for him. A couple months ago his Speach Therapist told me about Signing Time. Cole is hooked, it's practically the only DVD's he'll watch now. We bought set 2 for him and he absolutely LOVES THEM. He tells everyone that comes to the house about signing time and he gets them to watch with him. He signs, sings and dances along with the DVD's and watches them over and over. We are gonna have to invest in the first set real soon.
Signing Time has of course helped me learn (and remember) alot of new signs.
Rachel is so very talented. I hope to see more DVD's in the future. If you need topic ideas, I have a couple. I'd love to see a Potty Training/ I'm a big boy/girl now... and one that teaches little ones to answer common toddler specific questions.
Thank you Rachel, Emilie, Leah, Alex, Hopkins, and everyone else involved in the creative making of Signing Time. You have helped my son's communication skills beyond belief.
THANK YOU... THANK YOU... THANK YOU!!!!

Before I had children, I was an educational interpreter for not only deaf children during school, but for their parents in school IEP meetings and parent teacher conferences. When I had my children I immediately bought the signing time DVDs and music! My children (now ages 8 and 6) know a lot of sign language and I have even been asked to show some basic signs in their classrooms. My daughter's former kindergarten teacher has incorporated sign language into their daily language lesson for the past 3 years since Hannah was in her classroom. My nephew (18 months) uses many signs after I bought him books and videos from signing time! Banana and baby are his favorites. He was able to communicate so well with his father who was stationed in Iraq. All by using sign language and a web cam. Dominic may not be able to verbally communicate clearly yet, but his sign language got his message accross to his dad. LOVE YOU, was their big one. I'm sure he will teach his new baby sister some sign language too. Thank you Rachel and Emilie for giving such a wonderful gift to so many children around the world.

We absolutely LOVE Signing Time! Our nearly 4 YO is now fluent in 2 languages (English & ASL) and our 14 Month Old has quite a vocabulary of signs and is able to communicate very well for his age.
We also are so thankful for Rachel & Emilie for creating this great program but also sharing their experiences with us. So nice to "get to know" them through weekly chats and following their blogs.

I stated signing with my son as a second langage, he is homeschooled. Then 4 years ago I started an in home daycare and started teaching the children simple signs at 6 mths old and it is wonderful to have less frustration in trying to figure out what they need. When the children started signing to their parents they wanted to know more themselves. Thank you and your family for making learning how to signing so much easier for everyone. God Bless you all, Leigh

My 19 month old has Down syndrome, and we have been signing to her since she was 3 months old. Thanks to Signing time, her older sisters know hundreds of signs, and she knows over 35 signs and can communicate perfectly with us through sign. As importantly, watching Rachel and listening to the words of her beautiful musica has assured me that I can parent my child....

Signing Time! has a veery special place in my classroom. The students love it and any adults who come into the room are immediately mesmerized too. Not only do the kids learn sign language, they also learn the ABC's, numbers and new sight words. I also see an increase in self-confidence as they learn this beautiful language and model it for their friends. We LOVE Signing Time!!!!

I am a mom of Twin boys, both diagnosed with Autism. Jacob is non-verbal but using signs and Kyle only just started talking and it is because of Signing Time. You gave me a gate way into my sons and a way for them to get out. I know that it was not your initial goal to help families like ours BUT I will be forever grateful to you for doing so. Keep up the great work. You are truly wonderful!
