Just returned to Tucson after a wonderful time at the Cozy Crop House. Kate has got to be the best hostess around. The house was comfy, food excellent and the crop so much fun. I hope to return.

Being a friend of her daughter, I guess I am rather biased!Kate is an excellent business woman who took a dream (along with hardwork, passion, and determination!) and made it a reality. I look to her sucess as inspiration while starting my own business. Great work and I can't wait to check out the new location when I come to visit!

I met Kate several years ago when the Cozy Crop House first opened and she has become a dear friend and mentor. I am truly amazed at her business savvy and how she can have a vision and make it happen! I have helped co-host Cozy Crop weekends with Kate and her staff and they are like family!!! Whenever I walk in the door of the Cozy Crop House it feels like I am home again! It has been such a blessing to get to know Kate and have her as a friend and mentor!

Kate and the Cozy Crop House are like a second home. It has been wonderful to meet other women who enjoy scrapbooking, taking classes, and enjoying a Saturday afternoon massage. I started going with my local scrapbooking friends and thought I would never be able to get away for a whole weekend. Now it is must in my life. I am unable to get much done at home with two kids on the go so basically I plan and pack for the Cozy Crop House several times a year. I am already packing for April and planning a Disney album. Kate is a wonderful hostess. Book now for next year! Hope to meet you there!

Kate is an amazing woman! For the past 3 years she has generously donated full weekend stays to an annual fundraiser I host. Her donation is always the talk of the silent auction. Her generosity and kind spirit are incredible!

I am very excited to be involved with Kate's second Cozy Crop house. Living in California, I don't get to help her out that often, but I will be taking some vacation time to help her move in and get set up. Not only does she run a great business, she really knows scapbooking. When we went on a cruise together with our mom, she gathered all of our pictures, and made a scrapbook for each of us. They came out great! It meant a lot to me that she took the time to do that for us. I think it is fantastic that she can run a business, doing something she loves. She puts her faith in God, and he takes it from there making it look so easy!

Kate is a great mother-in-law, not only for being so nice, but for being a great example of following one's dreams. Although I'm not much of a scrapbooking type, I have seen her passion for scrapbooking and compassion for others imbue her business with a welcoming and "cozy" quality. My own mother also runs her own business so it is a blessing to me to have two highly motivated women in my family to look up to. Everyone should vote for Kate; a great mother-in-law and businesswoman!

Kate (my Mommy) has not skipped a beat in the business world, even though she gave up decades of her life to raise four kids! I am the second-oldest of her children, and family has always come first for our mom. She even took several years to homeschool us.
Mom always taught us to work hard and embrace our creativity and passions. Now that Mom and Dad have an empty nest (three of us are married and the youngest sibling is in college) it is great to see Mom using her creativity and ingenuity for a career and passion of her own.
I feel like I have a special bond with Mom in the last few years, since I also run my own business, a reptile rescue and education organization (www.forgottenfriend.org). Even though reptiles and scrapbooking seem like careers which could not be more different, Mom and I are always comparing notes. We like to collaborate on business ideas and share success stories (big and small) as we navigate the business world together as the captains of our own small ships.

I've had the privilege of working with Kate as a scrapbooking teacher at the Cozy Crop House. Kate has a rare ability to dream something up and make it happen. I've watched her achieve her dream over the last 2 years, and it amazes me how she can juggle all the challenges of her home, work and business. She's a remarkable woman, and I'm proud to call her a friend.

I have been a customer of Kate's and the Cozy Crop House since it first opened and have continued to go anytime I get a free chance. I am a single Mom, and Kate has been an inspiration to me in terms of following your dreams. I take notes everytime I go to the Cozy Crop House on how she builds her business, and how she interacts with her customers. Personally, I also try to follow in her footsteps on the path that she has walked as a mother. She glows when she talks about her children! I only hope that my daughter grows up with the values that Kate has taught her children. Yes, the Cozy Crop House is a business, but Kate was brilliant enough to make the name of her business, the Cozy Crop House because as a customer I feel like I am not at a business, but at a house or home.
