The first thing that has to go is the smallbusinessonlinecomm.......... that the link takes you to. The link should go DIRECTLY to the website.

As far as the site goes, it looks really nice. Good graphics, good navigation. It explains what it is and calls for action on the first page. It looks very professional.

Good luck!

I am using adwords and I just signed on with WPromote. Adwords gets some targeted traffic but it is expensive.

For a site like yours, I would think things like blogging, forums, youtube and twitter would be the way to go. You need viral marketing. Since you aren`t selling a product per se, you can`t really go with a direct approach.

You need buzz. You need good backlinks.

Create a link button and text that people can get for their site and display it prominantly on your site. Offer some sort of incentive for people to promote your site for you. Also, look into sites like photobucket where they have the little sharing icons under the pictures. Call them and find out what you have to do to get the KiiRaa logo in there.

Keep me posted on how things are going.

Just to back up what Jeff said, I didn`t really feel pulled in.
There should be some value proposition for the reader, especially when folks hit a site and disappear in a few milli-seconds.

I think the site looks great. Congrats! Are you marketing your site on twitter at all?

Thanks Printstein. These are some great suggestions.

Yes we are on Facebook and Twitter. We have introduced a iPod Nano Giveaway contest hoping this will help us create a buzz.

Your other suggestions regarding allowing people to link back to KiiRaa are great. We didn`t think about that.

Thanks again.

hmm..I thought we were doing that by asking do questions, what is KiiRaa and what can I do? Thanks for the candid feedback. We might think about re-working or designing if people feel that same.
