What kind of a website is it? Do you have good content on it for readers to actually engage in and come back? Doing SEO alone won't get you all the traffic. There are many other ways to promote your website, alongside SEO. I've written a post on my blog on how to get quality traffic and you can check it out here if you'd like more information.
