Contestant's Case to Win

This is based on the number of votes received and does not reflect the quality of the business.
Northwest Redworms is an organic debris recycling center. Not only do we provide tons of information to the compost and gardening enthusiast, we also produce tons of organic fertilizer out of the debris that we receive. Prior to composting we battle the bugs and bees to get the rotten food waste to the shredder. Then we cultivate the compost to feed the black soldier fly larva. Once the heat dissipates the compost is then fed to the redworms and in no time we have a plentiful amount of aromatic organic fertilizer.

We don't do all the work though, can't even say we do the engineering. Mother Nature set that up herself. Redworms along with all the other micro and macro organisms work together in breaking down the smelly unwanted debris into a concentrated fertilizer that works better than any chemically produced soil additive.

As the redworm compost managers we monitor the temperature, moisture, PH and food availability for our workers. If our workers are happy then we see piles of redworms like in the picture. Their happiness is our goal.

Some of our other services are:
- We harvest the redworms for household and commercial composting.
- We build attractive compost systems out cedar and distribute them nationwide
- Locally we teach Vermicompost classes to ensure your recycling success.
- For fun we sponsor a local great pumpkin growing contest to show the value of recycling organic debris.
