Journal Junky started in the summer of 2008. As a child, I have always had an addiction to paper, pens, and journals. I have a multitude of journals for every occasion, and they are bursting with special moments, and priceless memories.

Living in this fast-paced world often hinders us from noticing the small things. We often overlook the simple beauty around us in nature and in others. I strongly believe that we should make time to make memories. Time moves on if we don't stop to enjoy it.

This is why I decided to create what I call a "Memory Journal." Memory Journals are earth-friendly and made of recycled materials. They are unique, fun, and economical! They are full of color and inspiration. Inside each journal is an inspirational quote, often include matching bookmarks, and can be personalized.

Journal Junky is a business based on three concepts: Capturing, Preserving, and Sharing Moments.

1. Capture the Moment: Stop, Look, Listen. Notice what is going on around you and write it down, draw it, or take a sample of it and add it to your journal.

2. Preserve your Moments: Your thoughts, ideas, opinions, and moments will forever be kept safe in your journal ready for you to relive them at any time.

3. Share your Moments: There are many times in life when someone can benefit from your experiences, life-lessons, dreams, and wisdom. Why not share, and help inspire someone else?

With the help of my many devoted customers, I have been able to sell over 600 journals in the last year! Journal Junky journals are sold in a number of gift boutiques around the USA! This has been really exciting.

Journals are my passion and I love making them. My goal for Journal Junky is to be a household name when it comes to sharing memories.

Journal Junky should be considered as a winner of the Home-Based 100 Competition because it promotes friendships, encourages communication, inspires and motivates others to write, and it even helps save the earth!
