RockaBuyGear.com is a place for moms to go to buy and sell their gently-used baby gear. After doing research, I found that most all moms had plenty of baby gear that they would love to get rid of, but they were hesitant of using eBay because of the fees and complexity, or weren't comfortable using Craiglist, so I came up with this new website as a solution.

Babies literally only wear their clothes a few months before they outgrow them. Parents are left with stockpiles of perfectly good clothes they most likely will give away or attempt to sell at a garage sale for next to nothing. This website enables them to sell to anyone in the US and make back some of that hard-earned money they spent (they would get more that secondhand stores would give them too), and also give them great bargains on clothes more appropriate for their growing child. All this can be done from the comfort of their homes (kids are hard to travel to the store with). Posting items is free too!

The BEST part about this company is that 10% of profits go to the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation! This is not a marketing gimmick, but part of RockaBuyGear.com's business model. We think that it is our responsibility to give back to those in need, but first we need to actually make something! (we just launched any need people to know about us!)

The reason I placed RockaBuyGear.com as a recession buster is that MORE people will use this website in a recession than any other time because money is tight and families are trying to save anyway they can.

RockaBuyGear.com can be run from any computer, and truely is a home-based business. It was just launched on 9/11/2009 and really needs some publicity to let moms know that it is here! This website could be very beneficial to many people, but those people just need to know we exist.
