Contestant's Case to Win

Having a 9yr old in the public school system, it was disturbing to see a lack of vocabulary and spelling words being taught. It's bad enough our kids are not encouraged to encompass more of the multitudes of adjectives, adverbs and the like; they have the misfortune of being exposed to misspelled and misused words in signs, names and advertisements in the communities they live in. JamesMark Publications has created 2 series of childrens' books. One, "The Chronicles of Jack and Casey", not only teaches a variety of vocabulary words, including the proper spelling, pronunciation, definition, and use of the words, it also teaches a life lesson in a way that the child will understand and not feel intimidated learning. Our goal is to educate children, give them the desire to speak more intelligently and intellectually, but also to deal with the issues they may face every day, such as sibling rivalry, lying, divorce, illness, death, etc. The second series, "Imagination Station", also promotes the exposure to vocabulary words for a younger "crowd", but also gives the reader the insight into what is really going on in the subject's mind in a way that children will identify with, and adults will find a great deal of humor in. We hope to give children a way to learn on a number of levels in a way that they will not realize they are learning. They will simply be entertained. Hoping to make the world a better place, starting from the ground up.
