Passion For Success
Jazyrain Letterpress Stationer is a boutique graphic design and letterpress printing studio specializing in the wedding invitation market. I started operating my business on a part-time basis in 2006, in a studio/shop space that takes up about 900 square feet of our home.

This business blends my love of design with a passion for working with my hands. After working closely with my client to design the perfect invitation suite, using the latest design software and my Mac, I have the printing plates made by a trusted vendor. These printing plates are then mounted on my antique Chandler & Price 12"x18" Old Series printing press, where each sheet is individually hand-fed.

This press, which was built around 1896-97, has produced countless jobs in her 112+ years of faithful duty. I am honored to carry on her proud service; printing beautiful wedding invitations for brides throughout the United States.

Growth In A Downturn
Working from home allows me to keep my overhead much lower than many others in this line of business, while the internet provides nationwide marketing at a reasonable cost. These factors help me offer a great product, at a good price, to a large customer base.

I maintain great customer service by answering emails and phones calls personally and promptly, always offering free samples of my work, offering a beautiful product at a great price, and basically allowing my love of the process show in everything I do.

In September of 2008 I quit my "day job" to run this business full-time and I've seen an increase in monthly sales from that date, despite the economic downturn. I believe my customer service values and attractive pricing are the main contributors to the continuing success and growth of my business.
