HipNurse.com's purpose is to motivate and inspire nurses to consistently provide quality, holistic care and reduce nurse burnout which causes high rates of: retention, preventable irreversible illness's, and unfortunately, patient deaths.

You could say that HipNurse.com is simply a community for cool nurses, but it's much more than that. Members of HipNurse.com strive for excellence 24/7. We're not in it for the name, just to get a license, or just to chase money.

We define a HipNurse as being hip to:
Integrity (Staying in line with HIPAA laws)
Self Presentation (Stylish and presentable in our own right)
Empirical Care
Policies and Procedures (Staying current with them as they are implemented)
Technology (Knowing how to use new equipment/software)

But overall, hip to providing exemplary care. We simply push nurses to strive for higher levels of performance and bedside care

On our web site nurses have the ability to connect and interact with other driven nurses via our blogs, forums, member profiles, etc!

We inspire, entertain and motivate our members via videos, galleries, rss feeds, inspirational quotes, t-shirts and more!

We think we should be considered as a winner because we are honestly striving to increase the quality of bedside care. Winning would allow us to gain more exposure among the nursing community so that more nurses will be inspired to continue high levels of nursing excellence. This would help to ensure that our mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, family and friends receive the best care when they have to visit any health care facility.
