Contestant's Case to Win

Sea Glass Organic is an online shop featuring eco-friendly gifts and goods. I created it to combine my love for the beach, my desire to help the planet and to engage my entrepreneurial spirit. Initially, products included locally made natural soaps and sea glass jewelry. My product line has grown to include organic cotton and bamboo beach towels, reusable water bottles, fair trade journals, organic sunscreen and locally made rope sandals.

To further reduce my environmental impact, I've cut my paper use in half by eliminating paper receipts for shipping labels and invoices. I also refill old ink cartridges and reuse all packaging. Small, simple things make a big difference.

Even as a small home based business, I am happy to make donations to the local Sea Turtle Hospital and participate in community beach clean ups. Sea Glass Organic is also a member of the Surfrider Foundation and Green America. I hope to continue learning, sharing and raising awareness about earth friendly products.
