Petit Couture is a premium line of infant and toddler separates and accessories founded in 2009 by Rebecca Kaykas-Wolff and Noree Milligan in Seattle, Washington. Petit Couture is dedicated to constructing infant and toddler items for rock-star fashion-conscious mamas and their offspring. Each garment is carefully and lovingly made in the USA.
In 2009, Rebecca and Noree, two neighbors now friends, discovered on a playdate with their daughters (both named Sofie) that they shared many similarities. One of which included the dream of starting a children's clothing line. After many follow-up playdates and discussions, they discovered they not only shared the same business vision, but the same name for their vision! Rebecca already owned the business license for Petit Couture; Noree owned the domain name. Kismet. Petit Couture was born.Petit Couture's inaugural line consists of branded basics in interlock and cotton blends. Each separate comes fashioned with Petit Couture's branded grosgrain ribbon and rhinestone embellishment. And, each separate is packaged with letterpress "playdate" cards to foster good mama-to-mama relations...just like how Rebecca and Noree met.We believe Petit Couture should be considered as a winner of the Home-Based 100 Competition for the sheer reason that through conversation and many kismet moments true beauty and whimsical fashion is being created for the tot-set. We love our creations, our company and our story. We hope to inspire and create a lasting business for our kids to enjoy. Thanks!Rebecca and Noree
