Contestant's Case to Win

The inspiration behind Future Fan Maternity came to me in August 2008, as I searched high and low for something to wear to a football game. At 6 months pregnant, my choices were very much limited to a couple of maternity t-shirts. Wanting something more flattering, it seemed I was out of luck!

As an MBA graduate student at LSU and full-time working mother of two, I knew I would be crazy to embark on a new business venture! I also knew I’d be crazy to pass up the opportunity to start-up my own company, especially a company that produced products I was proud of! So...

After countless hours of research and multiple licensing applications, I obtained LSU licensing rights! I formed Future Fan Maternity in January of 2009 and am the sole employee...for now!

I've started by offering three distinct styles of clothing - pieces that I would have wanted while pregnant. I could not be prouder of the quality and design of each piece! My goal is to expand my clothing line to offer additional styles and schools.

As more and more women continue working and remain active until late in their pregnancies, stylish and comfortable maternity clothing will continue to grow in demand. In a state where college football is king, the desire for anything LSU crosses over into maternity wear for sure! The market for my clothing is definitely there!
