Contestant's Case to Win

My Mom Knows Best, Inc. is the creator of gLovies which are disposable sanitary hand covers for children ages 2-6. As the founder of the company, I came up with the idea for my product while potty training my two year old son. We entered a public restroom for the first time and I was horrified at everything he touched! There must be a better way, I thought to myself. After doing my research and realizing that nothing existed on the market, I invented my product and was able to get it from concept to completion.

As a mom, I encountered a problem and came up with a solution on how to protect little hands from germs in a variety of places and circumstances.

Swine Flu hit and all of a sudden I was on National TV, in magazines, newspapers and on the radio. I spend hours and hours every day plugging away at my business, taking care of the house, taking care of my three children & husband and I am determined to be a successful Home-Based business. It's truly difficult at times to run a company out of the home due to the many "Mommy I NEED You" interruptions but the pros far outweigh the cons. I should be considered as a winner of the Home-Based 100 Competition because I am a hard working, dedicated entrepreneur whose company is based on helping children stay healthy and safe from germs in public places.
