Today more and more people are going online to search for products and services. As a result of this shift from old media to new media, traditional Yellow Pages and newspapers are slowly dwindling in most local markets. This means that local advertisers will need to look for new and innovative ways of generating cost effective targeted sales leads.
Currently most online advertising models such as Pay-Per-Click and display ads are not suitable for most small and medium-size businesses (SMB). Local search and the SMB market has proven to be a tough nut to crack. Many startups and established internet companies have tried and failed to capture significant market share in this space. Local search is a highly fragmented space that presents a unique challenge for SMBs.
We realize that SMBs have interest in other online marketing tools like Search, Email and other non-display tactics. We have developed a new internet advertising concept called Pay-Per-Chat that allows online consumers to post short-text messages in the form of questions or needs from their computer, which are then sent to targeted advertisers who can respond to those requests in real-time from their email or mobile phone. Advertisers pay as little as $0.25 cents to receive and respond to local targeted sales leads. There is no bidding or click fraud involved. This is a very low sales model in comparison to other forms of online and offline marketing. We firmly believe this is the future of local advertising.
