Contestant's Case to Win

I am a serial "mom" entrepreneur. I love my family but I also love business (thanks Dad!)The words I would use to describe myself (business & personal) are hard worker, dedicated, determined, creative, trendsetter and most of all passionate.

I started my first official company (this does not include my kool aid stands or the scrunchie hair ties I used to make and sell :)Mama & Bambino, handmade baby & toddler accessories. I started this business when my oldest child was 1 year old and I was looking for "something to do" It started at craft shows, then online. Being online and submitting my products for review on "MommyBlogs" was the best thing I could have done! I received National Recognition in major media publications. My "one man band" had made it! I was then approached by a leading manufacturer to purchase my business! (I got to stay on as the Creative Director of the Line)

With all of this amazingness (All in just 2 years!) I had my second child. A year goes by and of course I want to start another business! Hmmm...what else am I good at besides making baby accessories and clothes? PARTIES! I create all kinds of parties...childrens parties all the way to galas and most recently Weddings. This "job" is perfect for me, I am at home with my children (Carter is 5 now and Ellie is 2) but still get to do something I am passionate about and love doing.

I have my own style, but what I love the most is to meet all types of people and hear their ideas and just put a creative twist onto their event. I pride my workmanship on my clients personality, not mine. I want it to look like they came up with it all on their own and their guests to be comfortable because it is "like the hostess" I want it to be a reflection on them. I wish success to everyone, and I am a perfect example that you can enjoy parenthood and also enjoy "working".
A passion is not a job, it is something you look forward to everyday!
