Hi! I'm Chris Heidel, Owner of Libra Fitness, a private, in-home personal training studio located in Austin, TX.
I focus on developing mentoring relationships with clients built on trust and meaningful support to help them set, achieve, and maintain realistic fitness goals. I truly believe that while getting in shape isn't easy, it doesn't have to be complicated.Because this business is in-home, it offers clients the opportunity to have a very private, personalized experience. This can be critical for some inexperienced or out-of-shape clients who tend to shy away from the overwhelming, traditional gym environment. The gym itself is very simple, with limited equipment. This helps to alleviate the intimidation factor even further. For me, as the business owner, having a gym in my home allows for much-needed flexibility to work around my clients' scheduling needs and to ensure that family, household, and childcare needs are met. And the bonus is that working out is now incredibly convenient for my husband and myself!I entered Libra Fitness in this competition because I believe that our approach is innovative in many ways: 1). We take a personalized approach with our clients, 2). We provide a unique workout environment, and 3). I have found a business model that allows me to have the balanced lifestyle that I work to help my clients achieve.
