Parrot Heads rejoice! The winner of this year's Most Slacker Friendly category is playing your tune, literally. TropiCast Media and Entertainment provides audio podcasts and video webcasts as well as streaming radio dedicated to promoting the current and future stars of the musical genre known as "Trop Rock".

"Trop Rock" is really a collection of genres tied together by stories of tropical islands, sun soaked beaches, string bikinis and the search for the perfect boat drink. James Jowsey's TropiCast takes what Jimmy Buffett started and runs with it. They alsoo feature the Trop Rock News Wire, an RSS news feed featuring all the news and information dealing with artists they play. Parrot Head clubs and other organizations have taken up the Trop Rock cause (in a relaxed way, of course) by piping the media into their venues.
