I started Ruffled Feathers Bird Control after working in the pest control industry for several years. I noticed that there was a lot of need for bird pest control but not a lot of people that were doing it correctly. People would use the wrong materials or use the correct materials in the wrong places. Most companies were focused on spraying for bugs like spiders and ants and didn't focus any time and training on bird control. In fact I spent quite a bit of time going out to fix work that other people had done wrong.

I decided I wanted to specialize in this unique area because I knew I could give people an affordable solution to their problems, and I could do it right the first time. Our company only performs exclusion services, and although we are a licensed pest control company we do not use any pesticides. We focus on getting the birds out of nesting areas, cleaning up the mess, and installing physical barriers to prevent them from re-nesting in these areas so homeowners don't have to worry about the problem coming back.

Business has been great! By working out of the home I cut costs and can offer my services at an affordable price. I can spend more time at a home, do better quality work and save them money at the same time.
